The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) will conduct an NGO Leadership Training Workshop this week in St. Lucia.

An analysis suggests that currently, the NGO sector across the Caribbean Region is under considerable strain, as it is becoming increasingly more difficult to attract sufficient resources to sustain its operations.

While various reasons could be cited for this circumstance, it is clear that some attention needs to be paid to building an effective response. One such response is to increase the capacity of existing leaders to adapt to a new and changing environment by providing them with new skills and strategies that will ensure the sustainability of their organizations. In this context, CPDC has sought to undertake leadership capacity building workshops.

Vincentian Focal Point for Civil Society Organisations;  Dr. Ashley C. John Amb. was selected and awarded a scholarship to participate in the CPDC & European Union (EU) CSO Capacity Building Workshop 14th – 17th, November 2017, in St. Lucia.
